About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Procurement and Logistics Officer to join our company. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services that keep our operations running efficiently.
Job Summary:
The Procurement and Logistics Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process and coordinating logistics operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of goods and services. The role requires strong commercial awareness, supplier management skills, and operational coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement
• Manage the full procurement cycle: sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order issuance.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure competitive pricing, quality standards, and timely delivery.
• Review and analyse supplier quotations and prepare comparison reports.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings and risk mitigation.
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier database.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Logistics & Supply Chain
• Coordinate shipment arrangements (local and international), including documentation and customs clearance.
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure on-time receipt of goods.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs authorities.
• Track shipments and resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Optimize transportation and logistics costs.
• Ensure proper inventory coordination with warehouse teams.
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and contractual obligations.
• Monitor supplier performance and address non-compliance issues.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or related field.
Min. 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics.
Knowledge of local and international supplier markets.
Experience in international shipping, customs procedures, and vendor management preferred.
