About the Role
Employment Terms & Conditions
1: Working Hours: 10 hours / 28 days per month.
2: Bonuses given to employees with good safety & environment practices.
3: Company provides free tickets at the end of employment period. Initial joining ticket at employees' expense.
4: Company provides free round trip tickets for returning employees after 2 years at employment agreement renewal.
5: Company will provide free accommodation and food or alternative allowances.
6: Company shall provide free workmen's compensation insurance & medical insurance.
7: 180 days of probation period.
8: Annual leave & indemnity as per Qatar labor laws, subject to successful completion of employment term.
9: All the above positions are shore based not offshore; therefore, these positions are not considered seafarers.
10: All marine crew Must have valid Seaman's book & STCW95 training certificates.
Requirements
Requirements:
Leadership of the team conducting the general day to day management of ship movements
Review, create and implement port marine operations procedures in compliance with the Port Marine Safety Code
Organizational policy and all relevant legislation
Management of marine staff
Including allocation of duties
Competency training
leave rosters and absence as and when required
During normal operations and / out of port work
Assist with the coordination and management of port incidents and emergency situations
Including performing " on call" duties DPA.
