About the Role
Seaworks is seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor with expertise in mechanical, civil, and building surveying. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring accurate measurements for construction projects.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction site surveys to determine land features and elevations.
Use surveying equipment & instruments such as Total Stations, GPS, Theodolites, and Levels for precise measurements.
Interpret and analyze structural, mechanical, and civil foundation drawings to ensure project accuracy.
Establish reference points, benchmarks, and gridlines for construction and engineering projects.
Perform site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide accurate site data.
Utilize AutoCAD 2D, GIS software, and Microsoft Office for data processing and reporting.
Prepare survey reports, maps, and documentation for project records.
Requirements:
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years in land surveying across mechanical, civil, and building disciplines.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in surveying equipment, AutoCAD 2D, GIS, and MS Office.
Certifications: Professional surveying certification (preferred).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction plans, topographic mapping, and land development.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
