About the Role
The Dive Technician is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, preparation, and testing of diving systems and associated equipment in accordance with IMCA guidance, company procedures, and applicable local & international offshore safety standards.
The Dive Technician supports diving operations by ensuring all diving equipment, life-support systems, tools, and control systems are maintained in a serviceable condition and are fit for purpose prior to and during diving operations
Requirements
Technical or Vocational Education in Engineering
Dive Technician or Life Support Technician Training - minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintaining diving equipment
Familiarity with IMCA Codes of Practice, guidance notes, and offshore safety standards.
Strong understanding of diving system safety, maintenance, and documentation requirements.
Training Requirements: Basic Safety Training and Sea Survival/ TBOSIET training (preferably QatarEnergy-approved)
